Unistation是在一般醫院，由一個設備可施行脂肪來源幹細胞(ADSC, Adipose Derived Regenerative Cell= SVF, Stromal Vascular Fraction)/PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma)/PRF(Platelet Rich Fibrin)等多樣自體細胞治療而特別研制的醫療設備，其中特別是抽出脂肪來源幹細胞爲主。

2008年，日本東京大學整形外科Yoshimura博士假設：“幹細胞的血管分化（血管生成）功能引起平穩的供氧，導致結果上增加脂肪移植的生存率”，對此進行了研究(Aesth Plast Surg2008;32:48-55)。結果此研究證明了由單獨脂肪移植時的30-40%的細胞存活率，提高到約70%的Stem Cell Rich Fat（豐富幹細胞脂肪）的有效性。因此接觸到此論文的非常多的整形外科、皮膚美容科、泌尿科醫生，對于彌補單獨脂肪移植時的低吸收力的CAL手術，在個人診所裏也開始想導入並使用。但是當時在個人診所了導入使用存在巨大的困難，如對幹細胞分離的理解、設施不足，環境等原因。多數的專門研究機關上市並銷售了Multi-Station、Cha-Station、Celution、TGI等脂肪來源幹細胞分離裝置，並且CAL手術在個人診所裏也開始普遍使用。因此CAL手術不僅在研究所或大學導入，並且個人醫院的導入使用也成了普遍化。

雖然多數的脂肪幹細胞分離裝置已上市，但是不能排除被空氣汙染的可能性，較長的分離時間（約2小時左右）較高的消耗品費用（數千~數萬人民幣）等仍存在尚未解決的技術上的問題。Neogenesis Co., Ltd研究並投入了多年的時間與精力，開發出最佳的最小型幹細胞抽取裝置。UNistation吸收了現有裝置的優點，改善了缺點。
